ALGIERS, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) -- China became Algeria's top trade partner during the first half of 2019, according to a statement by the Algerian Customs Department.
"China came as top exporter to Algeria with a sum of 4.22 billion U.S. dollars, or 19 percent of Algeria's total imports," read the Algerian statement released Monday.
France ranked the second largest exporter to Algeria with a sum of 2.14 billion dollars, followed by Spain, Germany and Italy.
As for importers from Algeria, France topped the list with 2.66 billion dollars, followed by Italy, Spain and the United States.
