NAIROBI, Sept.22 (Xinhua)-- The following are news highlights in Kenya's major media outlets on Sunday.

--Nairobi governor Mike Sonko's two drivers have been hauled before the courts for obstructing President Uhuru Kenyatta's motorcade, in a dramatic escalation of the troubles facing the embattled county boss.

The two, Antony Wangamba and Joseph Njue, are facing charges of obstructing the presidential motorcade while driving vehicles "without a fixed prescribed number of identification plates, design and color inscribed as the identification mark". (Sunday Nation)

--This week will be a deciding moment for the Kenya National Union of Teachers (Knut) as the labor court will make two major rulings that will shape the politics of the union's leadership.
