After graduating from Yunnan Agricultural University last year, Yang Chunlei, 29, and his 27-year-old wife Bu Lulu secured a job at Shandong Luwang Agriculture Development Group Co., Ltd. The couple is dubbed as agri-tech pioneers in practicing modern agricultural methods and technologies. They adopted scientific planting techniques and inspected fields every day during busy farming season to analyze and solve problems in agricultural production they found from the data collected during the inspection. They also introduced high-tech agricultural machinery including the integration technology of water and fertilizer, grain dryers, harvesters and seeders. Modern agricultural technology will boost productivity, said the couple, adding that they believed China will witness robust growth momentum of high-tech agriculture. (Xinhua/Wang Kai)
