"Little Q" continues to lead Chinese mainland box office

BEIJING, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- Domestic drama "Little Q" continued to lead the Chinese mainland box office on its third day of screening on Sunday, the China Movie Data Information Network said Monday.

Starring Simon Yam Tat-wah, the film tells the story of a guide dog named "Little Q" and a middle-aged baker who lost his eyesight. It raked in 17 million yuan (around 2.4 million U.S. dollars) Sunday.

Domestic comedy "The Last Wish" ranked the second place, with a daily box office of 13.43 million yuan, which took its total to 222 million yuan.

Chinese animated film "The Legend of Hei" came in third by raking in about 13 million yuan on its 16th day of screening.
