FRANKFURT, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- German shares lost on Monday, with the benchmark DAX index down 125.68 points, or 1.01 percent, to close at 12,342.33 points.
Deutsche Bank lost the most among the blue chips, down by 3.50 percent, followed by automotive manufacturer Daimler and multinational chemical and pharmaceutical company Bayer, which lost 2.33 percent and 2.05 percent respectively.
Energy group RWE, German airlines Lufthansa and telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom were the top three winners, rising 1.35 percent, 0.99 percent and 0.30 percent respectively.
Multinational software corporation SAP was the most traded share of the day with a turnover of 215.8 million euros (237.0 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
