LONDON, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Monday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down by 0.26 percent, or 18.84 points, to close at 7,326.08 points.
TUI, a Germany-based integrated tourism group, soared 7.23 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Fresnillo and Unilever increased by 3.48 percent and 1.51 percent, respectively.
NMC Health, a private healthcare services provider, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 7.15 percent. Smiths Group, a British multinational diversified engineering business, dropped 4.82 percent. Micro Focus International, a multinational software and information technology business, fell 4.36 percent. Enditem
