BEIJING, Sept. 26 (Xinhua) --The Exemplary Band of the National Guard Forces of the Russian Federation, a famous military band, will make its debut in Beijing on Nov. 10.
The two-hour concert will be held at night in the Forbidden City Concert Hall, which is located next to Tian'anmen Square.
Conducted by Igor Levandovskiy, the band will bring an unforgettable performance with melodies widely known by Chinese audiences, including "Radetzky March" by Johann Strauss, "Toreador Song" by Bizet, as well as "Moscow Night" and "Unity is Strength."
Founded in 1971, the band has performed in a number of major events in Russia as well as internationally and represents the highest level of music performance in Russia.
Tickets for the show are available online, ranging from 50 yuan (about 7 U.S. dollars) to 880 yuan.
