LONDON, Oct. 2 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Wednesday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down by 3.23 percent, or 237.78 points, to close at 7,122.54 points.
Hargreaves Lansdown, a financial service company, lost 7.53 percent. Kingfisher, a British multinational retailing company, dropped 6.33 percent. Associated British Foods, a British multinational food processing and retailing company, fell 6.25 percent.
