BERLIN, Oct. 11 (Xinhua) -- The expected move of Manchester City star Leroy Sane next summer might dominate German football's headlines. But behind the scenes, Bayern Munich is working on an assumedly more significant transfer. The ruling German Champions' desire to develop to what is called "FC Bayern Germany" is an open secret.

The 2013 treble winner has intensified its efforts to sign 20-year-old Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz.

Ahead of the 2020 Euro qualifier against Estonia this Sunday, the German international is seen as the country's biggest future talent, having made his debut in the Bundesliga at the age of 17. Pundits and fans witnessed a new masterpiece of the gifted youngsters' ingeniousness in Germany's friendly against Argentina (2-2).

Reports of a 100 million euro deal to bring the youngster to Bayern, despite Havertz's current deal running until 2022.

Julian Brandt is expecting "something gigantic growing together." Borussia Dortmund forward is one of Havertz closest friends. He called "Serge and Kai" something "special."

Gnabry might be Germany's current shooting star after 10 goals in 11 internationals. Havertz said to have won over Joachim Loew's heart by now. For long, the German national coach has been reluctant regarding the midfielder believing he needs to develop still.

However, recent reports though speak of Bayern having to be quick as international rivals are eyeing Havertz with Barcelona and Real Madrid already lining up.
