DHAKA, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) -- The three-day "Digital Device and Innovation Expo 2019" kicked off in Bangladeshi capital Dhaka Monday.
The exhibition was held at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC), also known as Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre in Dhaka.
Organizers said the exhibition was mainly highlighting the successful journey of 10 years of Digital Bangladesh.
In a message to the event, Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said her government in the past years transformed Bangladesh into a Digital Bangladesh by making information technology accessible to all.
The theme of the event was "Made in Bangladesh" and LEE, the first ever walking robot in Bangladesh, was the brand ambassador of the event.
At the end of the expo, 30 innovations will be awarded.
