MACAO, Oct. 15 (Xinhua) -- The 24th Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF), organized by the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute, is to kick off here on Thursday, organizers said here at a press conference on Tuesday.
The three-day event, under the theme of "cooperation -- key to business opportunities", is co-organized by 15 economic and trade authorities as well as business associations from the Chinese mainland, the Macao special administrative regions (SAR) and the Hong Kong SAR.
This year's fair covers an area of around 24,000 square metres and offers nearly 1,500 booths. Various themed pavilions will be set up within the venue, together with a diverse array of themed expositions and products exhibition zones.
Meanwhile, an exhibition of products and services from Portuguese-speaking countries will also be held during the fair, the organizers said.
