TAIPEI, Oct. 21 (Xinhua) -- Export orders to companies in Taiwan fell for the 11th consecutive month in September, data released Monday showed.
Taiwan's firms saw their export orders drop 4.9 percent from a year earlier to 45.53 billion U.S. dollars last month, according to data released by the island's economic affairs authority.
For the first nine months, Taiwan's export orders stood at 348.96 billion U.S. dollars, down 6.1 percent.
Month on month, the island's export orders in September increased 13.7 percent from August. Enditem
