MADRID, Oct. 22 (Xinhua) -- Two Spanish sides are in action away from home in the Champions League on Wednesday night with FC Barcelona playing away to Slavia Prague, while Valencia travel to Lille.
The games are vital for both side's ambitions to make it into the qualifying round and with no game next weekend due to the decision by the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) to postpone the Clasico' between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid due to the disturbances in the Catalan region of north-east Spain, Barca boss Ernesto Valverde will be able to field his strongest side, without the need to reserve players for a key domestic clash.
Gerard Pique and Ousmane Dembele are available after missing the weekend win in Eibar through suspension.
Pique will replace Samuel Umtiti next to Clement Lenglet in central defense, although Dembele will probably start on the bench after Antoine Griezmann, Luis Suarez and Leo Messi linked well in Saturday's 3-0 win.
Meanwhile Nelson Semedo will start at right back as Sergi Roberto has a minor knee injury.
In a tough group which includes Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund, Barca need all three points from their trip to the Czech Republic to give themselves the best possible chance of finishing top of their group.
Valencia also have a so-called group of death' and although Albert Celades's side got off to a perfect start with an away win against Chelsea, before facing a reality check when they lost their second game 3-0 at home to Ajax.
Valencia now visit Lille, who are bottom of their group after defeats to both Chelsea and Ajax.
Celades' team will be boosted by a solid draw away to Atletico Madrid at the weekend in which forwards Rodrigo Moreno and Maxi Lopez combined well and the coach may consider giving a start to Carles Solar, who returned to action as a substitute at the weekend after several weeks out injured.
