Senior CPC official stresses self-awareness, firmness in Party building

BEIJING, Oct. 23 (Xinhua) -- A senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official has called for greater self-awareness and firmness in improving Party building work.

You Quan, a member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and head of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee, made the remarks Wednesday at a meeting on Party building work held by the department.

Efforts should be made to fully develop the role of Party building in guiding other work, he said, adding that the quality of Party building in the united front work system should be continuously improved.
