NANNING, Oct. 28 (Xinhua) -- 2019 "Silk Road Cup" China-ASEAN Table Tennis Tournament will kick off on November 28 in Jingxi, Baise, South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, said Baise Municipal People's Government.
A total of 40 teams at most from table tennis clubs and associations across China will participate in the amateur competition while professional players from China and ASEAN countries and regions will compete in the professional category.
Jingxi, as the permanent host city has held the event for two consecutive years since 2017. The event is hosted by the Chinese Table Tennis Association, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Sports Board and Baise Municipal People's Government.
