JERUSALEM, Oct. 28 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. computer network security giant Fortinet acquired the Israeli cybersecurity company enSilo, both companies announced on Monday.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed, but it was estimated by local media at tens of millions of U.S. dollars.
EnSilo, founded in 2014, is a privately held advanced endpoint security company headquartered in Israel's coastal city of Herzliya and in San Francisco, California.
The company focuses on preventing the most serious damage when it penetrates corporate networks, like data disruption and information theft.
Fortinet, headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, has more than 415,000 customers worldwide, including leading enterprises, service providers, and government organizations.
