Rural teacher takes care of left-behind students in E China's Jiangxi

Huang Xinglai prepares lessons at his dormitory at Cunli primary school of Huping Township in Le'an Country, east China's Jiangxi Province, Oct. 28, 2019. Huang Xinglai, 61, used to be a rural teacher at Anli primary school of Wanchong Township and retired in July of 2018. He went to Cunli primary school of Huping Township and worked as a rural teacher again in January of 2019 to respond to the call of local government. In order to focus on teaching, Huang lives at school with other young teachers. In his spare time, he takes care of the left-behind students, whose parents have become migrant workers in towns or cities, and pays home visit to his students. "Ever since I became a teacher, my life will always have something to do with teaching and the students," Huang said. (Xinhua/Hu Chenhuan)
