Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri resigned on Tuesday amid nationwide anti-government protests. He said his resign is an attempt to solve the crisis after he had reached a "dead end". The protesters said the resignation is not enough as they demand a change of the whole political class. They also asked for early parliamentary elections to allow new lawmakers to start huge reforms.■
