TEHRAN, Oct. 31 (Xinhua) -- Iran on Thursday expressed condolences to Pakistani government and nation over a deadly train accident in the neighboring country.
In a statement, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi offered sympathy to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery for the injured in the incident.
At least 70 people were killed and dozens of thers were injured on Thursday morning after a cooking stove on a passenger train, on its run from the southern Pakistani city of Karachi to the city of Rawalpindi, exploded and three cars caught fire.
