David Afudego, an Ghanaian obstetrician and gynecologist who has received medical training in China, says support from the Chinese government to Ghana's health sector is very critical to the health needs in Ghana. Working as a staff member of the Chinese-built Ledzokuku-Krowor Municipal Area Hospital, he is among many of the local medical staff that have received training in obstetrics, gynecology, neonatology, anesthesia, midwifery, and medical engineering at the Guangdong Provincial Hospital in China. The Chinese government has also provided a variety of modern medical equipment to support the hospital's delivery of quality health care to the people.■
