Adams pockets 35 points as Qingdao overwhelm Bayi 113-83 in CBA

QINGDAO, China, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) -- Darius Adams had a game-high 35 points and six rebounds, leading hosts Qingdao to an overwhelming 113-83 victory over Bayi in Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) here on Tuesday.

Qingdao led the first period by 10 points and never let the lead go. The game became one-sided as the host finished the first half on 64-39.

The visitors had no overseas players, and only two players scored double-digit points. Meanwhile, four players of Qingdao registered double digit. Dakari Johnson contributed a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds.

"My players played good offense, but they did a poor job on defense, " said Bayi coach Wang Zhizhi.
