MADRID, Nov. 7 (Xinhua) -- Spanish share values climbed by 0.52 percent on Thursday with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 opening at 9,398.40 points and closing at 9,447.30 points.
Shares in 24 of the 35 companies on the Ibex-35 went up in price, while the shares of 11 companies lost value during the day and one remained unchanged.
Cellulose and clean energy producer Ence Energia y Celulosa had Thursday's best results with share prices going up by 6.73 percent. Shares in steel producer Arcelormittal gained 6.68 percent, while the clean energy producer Siemens Gamesa saw a 3.70 percent rise in share values.
Construction and infrastructure giant, ACS suffered a 1.93 percent drop in share values, while energy supplier Iberdrola had 1.90 percent knocked off share prices and shares in the infrastructure company Ferrovial went down by 1.75 percent. Enditem
