COPENHAGEN, Nov. 8 (Xinhua) -- FCK Copenhagen met FC Dynamo Kyiv at Telia Park here in a Europa League clash which was played out at a blistering pace in front of 23,166 spectators on Thursday.

The Ukranian team received a shock early on when FC Copenhagen's Jens Stage put the home team ahead 1-0 after just four minutes.

FC Dynamo Kyiv were forced to press hard to get back into the match and it seemed to pay off when the FCK's Carlos Zeca gave away a penalty in the box after the ball hit his elbow.

In the second half, the Danish team defended valiantly but it was not enough to stop a former FC Copenhagen player Benjamin Verbic to penetrate the FCK defense with some fine combination play and equalize for Dynamo FC Dynamo Kyiv with 20 minutes remaining.

The match ended 1-1.

With two rounds left, FCK and FC Dynamo Kyiv both have six points, while Malmo FF follows with five points in third place. And Lugano in the last place with two points after Thursday's 0-0 with Malmo.
