NANJING, Nov. 8 (Xinhua) -- Antonio Blakeney of Jiangsu Dragons was unstoppable in overtime to help his team overcome Tianjin Pioneers 98-82 in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league here on Friday.
Blakeney scored a game-high 44 points and grabbed eight rebounds, shooting 15 for 32. Chasson Randle posted 33 points for Tianjin.
Both teams showcased strong defense throughout the game but Blakeney was on fire at offensive end, and led Jiangsu to prevail to enter the fourth period.
Balanced Tianjin battled hard in the last minutes and protected the rim well to force an overtime, but Jiangsu regrouped as Blakeney stood up and put on a decisive show.
