One security guard of armor cash carrier seriously injured in shooting in Frankfurt

FRANKFURT, Nov. 9 (Xinhua) -- A security guard of armor cash carrier was seriously injured in exchange of fire with a robber on Saturday morning in front of IKEA store in Frankfurt Nieder-Eschbach, Germany, local media reported.

The 56-year-old security guard was attacked when leaving the store with cash box and exchanged fire with the robber at the entrance of the store, media reported, citing a spokesman of local police.

The robber with money is still on the run, while the injured man has been taken to hospital for treatment.

It remains unclear how much money was robbed.
