KAMPALA, Nov. 9 (Xinhua) -- Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) President Felix Tshisekedi on Saturday started a two-day state visit in Uganda where the two countries are expected to conclude various business deals.

Tshisekedi is heading a Congolese delegation of ministers and other officials who are attending the two-day Uganda-DRC Business Forum 2019.

Uganda's foreign affairs ministry in a statement issued here said the two countries have concluded a number of cooperation frameworks. The frameworks are in the sectors of health, peace and security, energy and mineral development, and trade and investment among others.

Trade among the two countries is estimated to be about 532 million U.S. dollars, according to Uganda Bureau of Statistics.

"There is enormous room for growth and development if the two countries work together," Uganda's ministry of foreign affairs said.
