AMMAN, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- The Jordanian Foreign Ministry on Tuesday condemned the Israeli assault on the Gaza Strip.
The ministry spokesman Daifallah Fayez said the Israeli targeting of innocent civilians will lead to increasing tension and violence in the region, according to a ministry statement obtained by Xinhua.
The Israeli attack will cause spread of extremist agendas in the region, he added, urging the international community to take immediate action against Israeli attack.
The Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip on Tuesday killed at least four Palestinians, including a senior Islamic Jihad militant and his wife, and injured more than 25 others. Enditem
