JAKARTA, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- The Indonesian national skateboarding squad has set a target of two gold medals at the forthcoming 2019 Southeast Asian Games, their head coach said on Wednesday.

Jo Jaya Charlers Kusuma added that he expected the medals to be secured from the park and street sport events.

The coach said he was confident his country's skateboarders would be able to meet the target, though cautioned that they would face strong opposition from other nations.

Kusuma added that the target had been set after seeing the recent achievements and performances of the country's skateboarders.

Eleven Indonesian skateboarders will take part in the street, park, game of skate and downhill sport events at the 2019 Games, local media reported.

The 30th biennial regional multi-sport event will be held in the Philippines from November 30 to December 11.
