MANILA, Nov. 19 (Xinhua) -- Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte ordered late on Tuesday the law enforcement agencies to arrest people who use vapes in public, saying he will ban the use and importation of e-cigarette or vapes in the Philippines.

Duterte said that he will issue an executive order in the coming days.

He said vaping is dangerous because it contains nicotine and "other chemicals that we do not know."
