BEIRUT, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- Lebanon's Financial Prosecutor Judge Ali Ibrahim referred three former telecom ministers to the Supreme Council for the Prosecution of Presidents and Ministers for investigation, the National News Agency (NNA) reported Wednesday.

The former ministers include Boutros Harb, Nicolas Sehnaoui and Jamal Jarrah, according to NNA, with no further details provided.

Ibrahim also filed a complaint against directors of two mobile operators, Alfa and Touch, as well as the director of public company Ogero for allegedly squandering public funds.

In addition, he filed a complaint against director-general of the Ministry of Industry for neglecting his job and causing a waste of public money.

These moves come after over a month of nationwide protests in Lebanon against the ruling political class which is accused by citizens of being corrupted and squandering public funds.
