All 11 miners trapped inside a coal mine in eastern China's Shandong Province have been lifted to safety as of 10:18 a.m. Thursday, according to local authorities. The miners have been sent to the hospital and are in stable condition. A fire broke out in the Liangbaosi coal mine in the city of Jining late Tuesday, trapping 11 workers underground. JINAN, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- All 11 miners trapped inside a coal mine in eastern China's Shandong Province have been lifted to safety as of 10:18 a.m. Thursday, according to local authorities.

The miners have been sent to the hospital and are in stable condition.

A fire broke out in the Liangbaosi coal mine in the city of Jining late Tuesday, trapping 11 workers underground. The coal mine, located in Jiaxiang County, has an annual production capacity of 3 million tonnes.
