In Daliyaboyi, an oasis in the Taklimakan Desert, local education was once constrained by adverse natural environment. Under years of poverty alleviation efforts, the desert town has recently moved to its current location with better traffic and public utilities. At the same time, learning conditions have also improved after a new campus for Daliyaboyi Township School was built. According to Headmaster Aiziz Tohti, the school now enrolls 59 students in its elementary school section and 63 students in the kindergarten section. (Xinhua/Hu Huhu)
