Around 10,000 runners compete in Huainan Bagongshan International Half Marathon

HEFEI, China, Nov. 24 (Xinhua) -- Around 10,000 runners competed in Huainan Bagongshan International Half Marathon in Anhui province, east China on Sunday.

Kenya's Robert Kiprop and China's Wu Chuanyue claimed the men's and women's titles respectively.

Kiprop clocked one hour seven minutes 20 seconds to win the men's half-marathon. China's Guo Shengming came third in 1:08.52.

Wu triumphed in the women's race in 1:26:37.

Runners participated in the half-marathon, mini-marathon and a recreational race at the scenic spot of Bagongshan of Huainan City, east China's Anhui Province. Enditem
