A presidential election run-off is expected to take place on Dec. 29 in Guinea-Bissau.

BISSAU, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- A presidential election run-off is expected to take place on Dec. 29 in Guinea-Bissau, according to the provisional results published Wednesday by the National Election Commission of Guinea-Bissau.

If no candidate receives more than 50 percent of the votes in the first round, a run-off is scheduled. ■
