RABAT, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- Moroccan authorities arrested on Wednesday two Spanish women for smuggling over 85,000 psychotropic pills and synthetic drugs, the Moroccan Police said in a statement.
The suspects, aged 25 and 38, were arrested in possession of these synthetic narcotics aboard a Spain-registered vehicle, it said.
They were about to enter Morocco through the northern port of Tangier-Med, the statement said.
It added that investigations are underway under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor's office. Enditem
