WINDHOEK, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- Now in its 32nd year, Namibia's annual Swakopmund Sandman triathlon will take place on Sunday at the Mole in the coastal town of Swakopmund.
Over 300 participants are expected to take part, with ages ranging from 7 to 70, race organizers OTB Sport said on Thursday.
An OTB Sport spokesperson said participants can choose between the Ultra (1.9km swim, followed by a 90km cycle and then a 21.1km run), Standard (1km/40km/10km), Sprint (450m/20km/3km) and Mini distance (150m/6km/3km).
Last year a total of 272 competitors participated in the popular triathlon, with 162 individual competitors and 37 three-member teams.
