Local government makes efforts to develop panax notoginseng industry in Yunnan

Yunnan Province is a major production area of panax notoginseng, the main ingredient of Yunnan white medical powder, also known as "Yunnan Baiyao". The local government of Shilin County has made great efforts to develop panax notoginseng industry, including the ecological planting of panax notoginseng, the establishment of viewing base and the development of panax notoginseng medical diet, forming a whole industry chain.
