BEIJING, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese women's soccer national team announced a 25-woman squad here on Wednesday for the EAFF E-1 football Championship in South Korea next week.
Head coach Jia Xiuquan fielded the strongest-ever squad including former Paris Saint-Germain star Wang Shuang, Gu Yasha, Zhang Rui and Li Ying.
In addition, seven players who have won silvers with the Jiangsu women's team in the first women's Asian Champions League including Peng Shimeng and Yang Yi were also in the roster.
The EAFF E-1 football Championship, where China will take on South Korea, Japan and Chinese Taipei, kicks off on December 10.
