BEIJING, Dec. 7 (Xinhua) -- League leaders Guangdong enjoyed their 10th consecutive win by smashing Qingdao 136-112 in the 14th round of Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Saturday.
Qingdao entered the second quarter with a nine-point lead before Guangdong embarked on a 37-21 run to take a 63-56 lead at the break, and never surrendered their advantage to the buzzer.
Sonny Weems led Guangdong with 31 points, followed by 25 from Yi Jianlian, while Darius Adams had a team-high 35 points for Qingdao.
Elsewhere, Guo Ailun scored 28 points as Liaoning beat Guangzhou 123-115, with Lance Stephenson notching a game-high 32 points for Liaoning.
In other games, Shanxi cruised past Sichuan 107-94 for their fifth win in a row, with Yuan Shuai leading Shanxi with 24 points.
