TEHRAN, Dec. 7 (Xinhua) -- Turkish coach Mustafa Denizli, who took charge of Iran's Tractor soccer team six months ago, parted company with the club on Saturday after poor results over past weeks.
The 70-year-old coach left the Tabriz-based club on mutual consent, according to Tractor FC official website.
"I'm psychologically exhausted. I wanted to leave earlier but the club board didn't allow it," Denizli told Turkey's Anadolu Agency.
Tractor are currently in the 8th place in the Iranian Soccer Super League standings, with 5 wins, 3 draws, and 3 losses in 11 weeks.
Tractor hired Denizli in June 2019 for a year-long tenure.
Denizli has won Turkey's super league titles with "Istanbul Big Three"- namely Fenerbahce, Galatasaray and Besiktas.
