GCC foreign ministers hold preparatory session for Gulf summit

RIYADH, Dec. 9 (Xinhua) -- Foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) held on Monday a preparatory session in Riyadh for the Gulf summit, scheduled to be held on Tuesday.

The session was chaired by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Anwar Mohammed Gargash, with participation of GCC Secretary-General Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani.

Gargash expressed sincere thanks to Saudi Arabia for hosting the GCC Supreme Council ministerial meetings, expressing sincere thanks to the GCC Secretary-General and workers.

For his part, Zayani said the ministers discussed the topics on the agenda of the preparatory session, including the report of the General Secretariat on the implemented decisions of the supreme and the ministerial councils.
