FRANKFURT, Dec. 09 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged down on Monday, with the benchmark DAX index down 60.97 points, or 0.46 percent, to close at 13,105.61 points.
Sportswear and equipment maker Adidas lost 1.90 percent, the top loser among the blue chips, followed by pharmaceutical company Merck and energy group E.ON, which shed 1.10 percent and 1.03 percent respectively.
Aircraft engine manufacturer MTU Aero gained 1.30 percent, becoming the top gainer of the day. Renal dialysis equipment supplier Fresenius Medical and reinsurance company Munich Re advanced 0.59 percent and 0.42 percent respectively.
Global internet technology and financial services provider Wirecard was the most traded share with a turnover of 210.5 million euros (233.1 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
