AMMAN, Dec. 15 (Xinhua) -- King Abdullah II of Jordan on Sunday met with Japanese Defense Minister Taro Kono to discuss the strategic partnership between the two countries and means of enhancing cooperation, especially in defense.
During the meeting in Amman, the Jordanian leader expressed appreciation for Japan's continued support to Jordan.
Discussions also covered regional developments, counter-terrorism and the need to maintain cooperation and coordination.
