India's TCS launches low code development kit to deploy blockchain application

MUMBAI, Dec. 16 (Xinhua) -- India's Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has launched a low code development kit for enterprises to quickly build and deploy applications on any popular blockchain platform, a company statement said on Monday.

Programmers can write smart contract 40 percent faster using these applications by incorporating best in class coding practices.

"Many of our customers, across industries, are leveraging blockchain technology to establish frictionless transactions across their extended ecosystem. We developed the Quartz DevKit to help their teams rapidly put together high-quality pilots using smart contracts on any platform with reduced coding effort," said R Vivekanand, Global Head, Quartz, TCS.

Quartz solutions can help make organizations agile, significantly reducing transaction processing timelines and costs related to data exchange with upstream as well as downstream systems. It can enhance the core competitive strengths of an organisation in an environment of utmost security since it is designed on the premise of data masking, privacy and anonymity, the statement said.
