RABAT, Dec. 19 (Xinhua) -- The African Development Bank Group has approved a loan of 204 million U.S. dollars to support a program of improving social protection in Morocco, Le Matin official daily reported on Thursday.
The program aims to promote regional development approach of more integrated and inclusive social policies, as well as to broaden social protection mainly to people with disabilities, children and vulnerable women, the report added.
The loan will help build hospitals and upgrade infrastructure and equipment in urban and rural areas.
Since 1970, the bank group has invested more than 10 billion dollars in multiple strategic sectors of the Moroccan economy, according to official statistics.
