Album on Macao's achievements published

BEIJING, Dec. 20 (Xinhua) -- A photo album has been published by China Pictorial Publishing House (CPPH) to display the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR)'s achievements since its return to the motherland.

The album, titled "Blooming Lotus Flower: 20th Anniversary of Macao's Return," was jointly compiled by the CPPH, the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao SAR and the SAR's Government Information Bureau.

Edited in both Chinese and English, the album uses historical photos to showcase the successful practice of "one country, two systems" with Macao characteristics, highlighting the region's economic growth, improvement of people's livelihood and social stability.
