BEIJING, Dec. 25 (Xinhua) -- China had captured 3,350 fugitives suspected of gang and organized crime amid a nationwide crackdown, said the national office against organized crime on Wednesday.

The 100-day hunting campaign launched on Nov. 4 has targeted 4,713 fugitives involved in organized crime, said the office.

Among the apprehended, 18 suspects were on the country's class-A wanted list and 155 had fled abroad, the office said.

The Ministry of Public Security has released a new list of 30 wanted fugitives involved in major gang and organized crime for public tip-offs.

The office vowed to maintain the harsh crackdown on organized crime and further push forward the campaign.
