NANJING, Dec. 28 (Xinhua) -- Nanjing Monkey Kings turned the table around with tough defense in the last minutes, winning 101-100 over Beijing Ducks in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) here on Saturday.

Though star player Jeremy Lin posted a game-high 33 points for Beijing, Wang Rui scored his big three-pointer with 5.3 seconds remaining, helping hosts Nanjing overtake the lead.

Fang Shuo missed the buzzer beater for Beijing who only scored 16 points in the last quarter due to strong defensive teamwork from Nanjing.

Led by Guerschon Yabusele who scored 28 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and made six steals, Nanjing pushed hard and made baskets everywhere as five players scored 10-plus points to beat their 84-72 deficit into the last period.

Beijing controlled the rhythm, poured in jump shots and led 60-51 into the third quarter, with Lin in his immense form, scoring 18 points alone.
