BEIJING, Jan. 1 (Xinhua) -- From above, the world reveals itself in an unfamiliar but impressive way, adding a dimension to our understanding of life.

Drones, the wings of the eyes and eyes of the explorers, take us to recap the year of 2019, with the most notable aerial shots from Xinhua photographers.

In recent years, Shaoxi Village made great efforts to promote the special food culture to develop rural tourism. It's expected that the mutton pot festival held in autumn and winter this year will attract more than 500,000 tourists and create a revenue of no less than 50 million yuan (about 7.1 million U.S. dollars).
