SINGAPORE, Jan. 3 (Xinhua) -- Singaporean stocks closed lower on Friday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) going down 0.41 percent, or 13.18 points, to close at 3,238.82.
A total of 1.67 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.05 billion Singapore dollars (about 778.12 million U.S. dollars). losers outnumbered Gainers by 275 to 169.
